HOME STUDY AND POST PLACEMENT SERVICES

CIC, Inc. provides education, home study, and post placement services to residents of Massachusetts. This service is available for families applying to adopt through one of our international programs as well as to families adopting through other sources.

Although we mostly work with international adoption placements, we will also help Massachusetts families involved in a domestic or international adoption process with an out of state placing agency, or a relative adoption. We understand that it is a life long decision to expand your family through adoption and our staff is attentive to your decision making process, and able to help you develop a realistic understanding of the challenges involved. As we are not involved in the actual process of placing U.S. born children, we will be happy to refer you to an adoption agency which is directly involved in this process and which we feel might best answer your needs.

Experienced, professional licensed social workers will work with you to complete your Home Study to meet the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and, for international adoptions, Citizenship and Immigration Services. Children’s International will provide pre and post placement social work assistance, addressing a variety of issues related to the adoption process. We will continue to work with you and your placing agency throughout your adoption.
