KOREAN PROGRAM
Children's International is proud to provide local services to families in Massachusetts adopting through the Korea program of FCA in CT.
Through this partnership, Children's International offers Massachusetts families a local support and opportunity to adopt from one of the most established Korean adoption programs in the U.S.
FCA's program was established in 1982 and has worked collaboratively with the Social Welfare Society (SWS) of Seoul, South Korea, placing more than 1,200 children in American homes. The adjustment of these children to their families has been outstanding. There is a well developed network of resources, opportunity and experience for Korean adoptees and adoptive families, including homeland tours and cultural programs.
The Korea program is noteworthy for the general good health and young age of the babies who are adopted, the relatively short processing time, and the generally smooth adoption process. Travel is optional.
The Social Welfare Society gives exceptional care to Korean birth mothers and infants. Infants are nurtured in a private foster care and receive medical attention of the highest quality. Families receive good, current medical information.
Children's International will closely work with your family during this sensitive process.
