OUR SERVICES

Children’s International Choice personnel works closely with prospective parents throughout the adoption process and, among other things, assists them with the following:

• Preliminary consultation for adoptive parents.
• Home Study and supplemental approvals for international adoption (MA. residents only).
• Post placement Supervision.
• Assembling of an adoption dossier.
• Official translation of documents and legal interpretation.
• Preparation, legalization, delivery and filing of all application materials required for initialization of the process.
• Preparation, legalization, delivery and filing of dossier required to process the case in the Regional Court and official representation involved in filing and hearing process.
• Obtaining of a business visa for foreign travel.
• Support in all aspects of acquiring adoptive child/ren’s immigrant visa to the United States, including direct contact with the US Department of Homeland Security (Immigration Services) and US Department of State and its representation overseas – the US Embassy, scheduling appointments, preparation and filing out the required documents, such as a:
  
  
  • Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition upon conclusion of Home Study process.
  • Petition to Classify Orphan as an Immediate Relative.
  • Affidavit of Support under Section 213 A and supplemental documentation, if required.
  • Report on overseas Orphan investigation.
  • Application for Immigrant visa and Alien registration, including filing of biographic identities and the sworn statement.
  • Application for a Certificate of Citizenship and US Passport.

Children’s International Choice, Inc. provides assistance to parents in obtaining all available documents regarding an eligible child, such as:

• medical examination results
• available prenatal history and other background information
• available biological parents' information
• immunization and vaccination records
• available visual data
